Project descriptionMINE is a non-profit organization located in the south of Sweden. The initial aim of founding MINE was to bridge the gap between the need of employers and the competence of candidates with an international background. Since 2003, MINE has helped organizations to grow successfully and sustainably through promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. MINE provides consulting service, lectures, seminars and workshops for its member organizations to enhance their diverse and inclusive working environment. Moreover, a variety of programs initiated by MINE has assisted international talents to enter the Swedish labor market. For example, Samspelet and Mentorprogram ran by MINE has received positive results. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work in a multicultural environment and engage in a large network of organizations and with personal freedom to carry out ideas. Main tasks: Project management and assistance. Interviewing candidates. Workshops. Administrative work.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangementsThere is a number of student housing and similar options in Malmö for the volunteer and our organization will assist to find suitable accommodation. In Malmö biking is the best way of transport. Citybikes is a good option and available for a low cost. Regarding food, there is a number of supermarkets and restaurants close to the office.
Volunteer profileSince we have a large variety of working tasks we encourage volunteers with interest in our mission that wants to carry out integration projects and with a flexible attitude take part in all of MINE´s work. Please make sure to read on our webpage to understand our work. For a successful time at our organization we see that the volunteer has: Administrative knowledge and computer skills. Interest in integration and labor market. Speaks and reads English. The desire to improve skills and knowledge. Team player. Ability to work independently and take responsibility for parts of projects.
