Project description* Important: the funding of this project will be officially known after the selection results of the last ESC call for proposals (mid of July 2019). This volunteering project aims at proposing activities for disabled young people, orphans or children in difficulty, and participating in local cultural actions with the partner association Miras Moldova. Activities : Carrying out activities with 4-20-year-old children in two rehabilitation centres, in order to help them in their daily life / Organising cultural actions (music lessons, handiwork...) / Helping to organise sports activities to improve their motor activity and team-building / Doing intercultural games and workshops / Giving some advice on personal hygiene and psychological listening in collaboration with the professional staff / Visiting young people at their home / Promoting mobility programs / Participating in cultural actions led by Miras-Moldova / Organizing linguistic clubs (including in French).
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements- Accommodation : you will have a room in a host family (presence of other foreign volunteers) - Transport : you will receive a amount of 360€ maximum for your trips from France to Comrat, and from Comrat to France, - An amount of money will be given each month to buy food, - Health insurance (CIGNA), - Pocket money : you will receive 3€/day (that is to say around 90€/month) for your personnal expenses, - The program will cover your visas costs.
Training during the projectThe volunteer will attend : - Russian lessons (40h). - On-arrival and mid-term trainings with other European volunteers, - a half-day mobility preparation before the beginning of the project (by the French sending organisation), The volunteer will be followed throughout the project by the sending (Centre Régional Information Jeunesse Nouvelle-Aquitaine), host organisations (Miras Moldova and rehabilitation centres), the tutors and the mentor.
Volunteer profile- Age: 18-30 year-old volunteer, - Coming preferably from Nouvelle-Aquitaine area, even if other French volunteers or legal residents in France will be able to apply for this project, - No special certification, diploma or professional experience is required, - Being proactive, spontaneous, open-minded and be ready to have challenges, - Being ready to live in a rural area with a high cultural identity, - Having interests in the field of childhood, youth and handicap.
