Environmental Training for facilitators of Carbon Conversations groups
The non-profit organization Open Europe, in cooperation with DomSpain, has carried out an environmental training for facilitators within the Erasmus+ project "Tale of Two Futures” in its facilities in Reus.
The training was held on 5-9 March, with the participation of 25 adults, organized in two working groups.
Apart from these two groups of adults, on March 15 an explanatory talk about the project was held for teenagers in the youth centre of our city, where Open Europe is responsible for the international mobility service.
These training sessions were guided by two technicians from the UK association Surefoot Effect, a specialist in environmental issues.
The main goal of the conference was to train participants to be facilitators on environmental issues. The “Tale of Two Futures” project focuses on small individual and local actions in order to reduce pollution.
Starting in April, the facilitators who have completed this training will carry out multiplier actions by organizing eight groups of 8 people each, to raise awareness among the local population.
