Litija meeting about contending with Social Media abuse

Proyecto Smau
Proyecto Smau
Youth workers from three countries met in Slovenia to design tools to prevent social media abuse for young people.

Associations from France, Spain and Slovenia met in Litija (Slovenia) from the 13th to the 15th of April within the work plan funded by the European Commission as part of the program Erasmus + youth Proyecto Smau.
The Smau project enters in the final stage of its course and has finalized the final two actions that will give visibility to the work to prevent social networks abuse of young people.
During the visit to Litija, entities agreed to design infographic style guide to distribute to the project’s countries members for a common graphic and visual way to give guidance to educators and adolescents on the elements of proper use and avoid personal risks through internet.
The participating entities were: Coordinadora de Tiempo Libre de Vallecas (ES), Krecer (ES), Associacion and Foundation Naif (ES), all from Madrid. From France came CEMEA (FR) and Pistes Solidaires (FR), and we find MC Slovenia Litija (SL) and the Klise association (SL).
On the other hand it has been approved to undertake a formative meeting for educators in September in Madrid where educators will help design sessions and activities on new technologies.
