Youth Climate Pact Challenge: Join in!
Last updated on Monday, 21/06/2021
Are you between 15 and 30 years old? No matter your background or what you’ve already done to support the environment, the #EUClimatePact is looking for you!
The Climate Pact is a movement of people united around a common cause, each taking steps in their own worlds to build a more sustainable Europe for us all. Everyone is welcome to join the movement, especially young people like you!
What will happen on 29 June?
The Climate Pact Day of Action will be hosted in digital format. It aims to raise awareness of the progress and opportunities in the Pact, encourage pledging, share uplifting stories of climate action and connect people with action in their own country.
There will be four working groups for you to choose your preference:
- Support for Young Climate Pact Ambassadors
- Stepping up individual climate action
- Stepping up youth involvement in climate policy
- Education for climate action
How can you participate?
To take part in the event and be able to interact with speakers and participants, register here before 28 June 2021. You will have access to the morning session and the National launches shortly afterwards.
Alternatively, you can watch the event live online and ask any burning questions using the sli.do tool. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #MyWorldOurPlanet when talking about the EU Climate Pact on social media!
