Printemps de Bourges

When springtime hits France, everyone goes to Bourges where more than 200 international artists perform during the four days of the festival. Rock, electro, hip-hop, jazz, a melting pot of music livens up the stages! But that is not all, the off-programme also offers you a wide range of cultural events to enjoy.



Nuits Sonores

If you are an electro fan, then you are likely to end up bouncing at the Nuits Sonores festival! Every year, more than 50 artists come from around the globe to participate in this event and turn the city of Lyon upside down. Entirely dedicated to electronic, independent music and digital culture, this festival guarantees you five days of unrivalled fun! Discover the city of Lyon in a new light!




Come stride along the open air stages of the Hellfest festival, the favourite place of all metal lovers! This festival is dedicated to hard rock, heavy, metal and punk leaves no one indifferent. Every year, around 150 000 festival-goers attend this festival. This festival, which has an excellent reputation in France and abroad, attracts visitors from around the world!

This activist festival is an annual solidarity event organised by Solidarité Sida. Apart from musical shows, this event offers workshops on AIDS in order to inform and prevent people. This event brings together more than 150 artists and 170 000 festival-goers and donates all profits to organisations who fight against AIDS. Going to the Solidays festival is an opportunity to show solidarity!




  • First week-end of July | Belfort | Website

Based in a peninsula near Belfort, this independent festival takes place in lovely natural surroundings. It is a generalist and non-exclusive festival with both famous national and international musicians as well as emerging artists. Every first week-end of July, the party is in full swing with all kinds of music. 




  • Mid-July | La Rochelle | Website

This festival is entirely dedicated to French chanson and music. Famous bands and young talents play on 8 different stages, for 30 concerts and about 130 000 spectators, in five days.

Musilac is amongst the best festivals in France. Its location on the Bourget Lake gives an idyllic setting to this resounding pop-rock event! Every year, it attracts a lot of international and national artists. An event which pop-rock lovers should not miss!



Vieilles Charrues

Simply the biggest festival rock in France! Every year, more than 225 000 festival-goers move to Carhaix to party for four days. This festival brings together cult rock bands and helps young bands to make themselves known. A safe choice!



Route du Rock

Brittany is the best place to be for all indie music lovers! Given its success, this festival now takes place twice in a year: once in summer and in winter. The festival that keeps you warm no matter what the weather is like!



Rock en Seine

This festival puts an end to summer festivals. It attracts both tourists and Parisians who come to enjoy the best of the pop-rock international scene, headliners and promising bands. Do not miss this musical fresh air!
