Through the Michael portal you can find and explore digital collections from Finnish museums, archives, libraries and other cultural institutions. The Finnish Michael portal has 58 collections and 8 organizations.

Among the collections included in the Michael portal are for example the joint search portal of Finnish museums, Museums Online and Finnish National Gallery’s Online Collection. The joint search portal of Finnish museums, Museums Online, provides access to the collections of several museums: you can search for and browse object and picture collections, works of art, as well as archaeological and ethnographical artefacts, tools and appliances. The Finnish National Gallery Collections consist of more than 33,000 works of art. The collection of the Finnish National Gallery can be described as the collection of collections. Besides the National Gallery’s own acquisitions, the collection includes donated collections of different sizes. There is a story behind every one of them. You can explore these works of art via National Gallery’s Online Collection.
