Restless Youth exhibition coming up
In the past 70 years, young people in Europe have gone from being a group to whom history happened, to a group that actually makes history.
New exhibition at the House of European History in Brussels examines what it was like to be young during the late 1940s, the 1960s, the 1980s and the 2000s.
From education and employment, to forging an identity and finding love, it compares experiences of young people throughout the time, as the youth was shaped by politics, society, culture and economics.
"Restless Youth - Growing up in Europe, 1945 to now" will run from 01 March 2019 to 29 February 2020.
The admission is free.
