The campaign is a travelling exhibition which started in Vilnius and will travel across several European cities: Bucharest, Berlin, Rome, Marseille and Madrid between April and July 2018.
The exhibition will be open for 10 days in each city and will give visitors the opportunity to experience EU emergency response via virtual reality: a 360-degree video that will bring them to various settings around the world such as an humanitarian crisis, an earthquake and a forest fire.
The EU Saves Lives campaign aims to raise awareness about EU's actions in response to natural and man-made disasters and EU’s commitment to saving and improving the lives of people affected by crises. It also aims at highlighting the importance of humanitarian aid and civil protection based on the principle of solidarity.
