Renew your driving licence

As an EU national living in the United Kingdom, you can renew a driving licence issued in another EU country, at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authorty for a fee of £43.

If you live in the United Kingdom and are aged 70 or above, you may be required to undergo additional tests when you renew your licence but this will depend on the medical details presented at the time of the application and at the time of subsequent renewals every three years.
