The company tax
The base rate for company tax in Poland is 19%.
There is also a 15% tax rate for low earners and for start-ups (those in their first year of paying corporate tax).
When you set up your business entity, you should ensure that you do the following:
- in the National Court Register (KRS) and submit an NIP-8 form - giving .
- by the 20th day of each month for the previous month
- You must submit your company tax return before the end of the 1st quarter of the following year
What profits do you pay company tax on?
Taxable profits include the money your company or association makes from:
- Doing business
- Capital investments
- Selling assets
If your company is based in Poland, it pays company tax on all its profits generated in Poland and abroad.
If your company isn't based in Poland, it only pays company tax on its profits generated in Poland.
