The company tax rates for Croatia are 18 % and 12 %. Taxable persons in Croatia comprise companies and other legal and natural persons resident in Croatia.
When you set up your business entity, you should ensure that you do the following:
- (within four months of the end of the tax period) or report if you have nothing to pay
- file your company tax return by your deadline (within four months of the end of the tax period)
What profits do you pay company tax on?
Taxable profits include the money your company or association makes from:
- doing business
- selling assets for more than they cost (chargeable gains)
If your company is based in Croatia, it pays company tax on all its profits from Croatia and abroad.
If your company isn't based in Croatia but has an office or branch there, it only pays company tax on its profits from its activities in Croatia.
