Geographical indications – Denmark

Denmark does not have national legislation protecting agricultural or non-agricultural products. Denmark has a limited number of registered geographical indication's for food and wine, which are registered at the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration. The current level of protection is provided by the European legislation on geographical indication for agricultural products. For protection for non-agricultural products in Denmark, please have a look at the trade marks protection.
