Working hours, holiday and leave
As an employer, you need to know the minimum EU standards for working hours and rest, breaks, annual leave and night work. Derogations from some of the working time obligations are possible if allowed by national law.
Remember that any of your employees (male or female) can request parental leave for the birth or adoption of a child, regardless of their contract type. Both parents are entitled to at least 4 months of leave each.
