Terms of employment – Iceland

Simplified work schemes (more flexible) apply to employees working maximum 1 month or to employees working less than 8 hours/week.

Iceland is not a member of the European Union (EU), but is associated with the EU through the EEA Agreement. The rules applicable in the EU countries will therefore not always be applicable in Iceland.
