ISA2 Programme, boosting digital public administrations in Europe

The ISA² Programme is increasing administrative capacity of public administrations in Europe by implementing the EIF. This interactive workshop aims at: 1. Identifying main eGovernment and interoperability measures related to ESIF TO2 and TO11. 2. Producing guidelines and trainings for the digitalisation of public administrations at local and regional level and e-tools for networking and boosting administrative capacity for EU funds management. We will show success stories of digital public administrations in Spain, Belgium and Finland, through SLIDO, the audience will interact with speakers and amongst them, showing lively the answers that will redirect the speakers' discourse.

Session summary

The ISA² Programme is increasing the administrative capacity of public administrations in Europe by implementing the European Internet Forum. This interactive workshop aims at: 1. Identifying the main eGovernment and interoperability measures related to European Structural and Investment Funds TO2 and TO11. 2. Producing guidelines and training for the digitalisation of public administrations at local and regional level and e-tools for networking and boosting administrative capacity for the management of EU funds. We will tell the success stories of digital public administrations in Spain, Belgium and Finland, through SLIDO, the audience will interact with speakers and amongst them, showing live the answers that will redirect the speakers' discourse.

Take away message

There is a need to go on working in the digitalisation of public administrations at local, regional and national level, so that the interaction at European level is better. The European Commission, through different programmes and policies (ISA2, SRSS, and EU Cohesion Policy) which are clearly complementary will continue this work.
