Sport and physical activity for local and regional development has recently gained increased importance at EU level. It makes a direct contribution to regional economic activity and social cohesion by encouraging innovation, sustainable development and urban regeneration as well as enhances the overall attractiveness of regions. The workshop will focus on the role of sport for active and healthy communities through both political messages and best practice examples on the contribution of sport to the five investment priorities for Cohesion Policy beyond 2020.

Encourage better Sport life conditions between citizens

In the programme 2014-2020 we all have witnessed an enormous improvement in lifestyles through the implementation of good practices supported from Erasmus+ Sport programs and actions, but not only; decision-makers policies and local, regional and national governments must run hand by hand with community policies to further improve these results. #beactive #yesican
