The debate will showcase how local and regional authorities implement sustainable solutions to shift towards a carbon-neutral economy, especially in sectors such as mobility, energy efficiency in buildings and use of renewable, clean energy sources. Cities and regions put into practice driving projects to get on track to the 2050 goals and the localisation of the SDGs, show citizens carbon neutral’s advantages and engage them in the transition, as a shared multi-stakeholder responsibility. The workshop will end up with a discussion with the audience on EU funds enabling energy transition.
