#territorialdata: thematic and territorial analysis

The #territorialdata initiative concentrate on how data can help you to understand any type of territory. The initiative focus mainly on dynamic tools, maps and data visualisation. This year, the 3rd edition thematic is Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

From Lisboa “European Green Capital 2020” until DG DEFIS - EU Space programme, fifteen organisations on four different sessions will present you their work on the domain. Do not miss any of the sessions:

Eurostat is presenting Regions in Europe – statistics illustrated, a new digital publication based on short texts and interactive data visualisations, like Dorling cartograms, bee swarms and bar code plots. We invite you to explore a wide range of regional statistics relating to people, economy and environment.

The OECD will present the new data visualisation platform to browse indicators, draw maps and charts for regions and cities in OECD member and partner countries. The OECD will also present the web-tool developed to measure the distance of regions and metropolitan areas to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
