Partners of the ARPAF project CrossBorder (Tyrol, CIPRA, SAB) will present the policy recommendations on greening cross-border commuting in the Alpine Region and EU. EUSALP AG4 partner CEI will present the outcomes of the Interreg Central Europe Project Connect2CE. DG Regio will present cross-border cooperation mechanisms relevant for transport and show how they can support regions. EGTC Tyrol, Eurodistrict Strasbourg-Ortenau, Région Sud-PACA and Euregio Inntal will present best practices from their regions. These include improved public transport services, real-time travel info and ticketing thanks to cooperation models like EGTCs, partnerships, agreements, company mobility management. These success factors are vital in overcoming administrative barriers that hamper sustainable transport solutions in cross-border regions exposed to growing commuter flows.
