This session aims to promote the embedding of cooperation in Investment for Jobs and Growth programmes, an option to allow for and experience innovative cooperation actions and approaches across regions.
The speakers will present the main findings of the mapping analysis of IGJ programme arrangements for cooperation actions. This will be also the moment to explore the needs and difficulties that regions are facing in order to allow cooperation actions and approaches and the applicable methodology and opportunities.
The workshop is an opportuniy to explore how "cooperation actions" could be possible and serve the needs of regions across borders and inside the same country, for better cooperation and exchange and the improvement of public policies and practices. Furthermore, the main implications and potential of defining "cooperation actions" will be provided.
This session will clarify the existing difficulties, identify pending needs for the further supporting actions that DG REGIO and Interact could implement and support for all EU regions that may want to explore such possibilities.
