The lab will be conducted in world cafe format, with participants split into smaller groups for discussion, and each group asked to nominate a notetaker, timekeeper and spokesperson among themselves.

We will start with a 10 minute introduction providing an overview of the subject and a short briefing of the aims of the session.

There will be a one hour in-depth discussion within each group, where participants will discuss one or more of the following questions:

– What are the positive aspects of engaging with citizens on subjects like digital rights?
– What ideas do you have for new forms of public participation on boundaryless subjects such as digital rights?
– What do you think citizens need to foster long-term collaboration with city or regional level governance on these subjects?

At the end there will be 15 minutes for the spokesperson for each group to provide feedback on key points to the wider group, followed by a 5 minute conclusion to the session, including how to keep up-to-date with the project.
