Graduated in Geography (2008) and doctor Cum Laude in Geography with European mention (2014) from the University of the Balearic Islands with the doctoral thesis “Analysis, characterization and dynamics of the blowout erosive forms in dune systems of Mallorca and Menorca (Balearic Islands)”. In 2009 he started his career as a researcher, focused on geomorphology and coastal management, as well as on the conservation of natural spaces.

In 2015, he started his work as an associate professor at the Department of Earth Sciences of the University of the Balearic Islands. He also gave lessons at the Edge Hill University (UK).

He participated in technical reports regarding the state of conservation of the coastal systems of the Islands and the preservation of natural spaces. He was also the technical director of the Preliminary draft of the Plan for the Management of Natural Resources of Es Trenc-Salobrar de Campos (Mallorca) in 2010, driven by the Regional Ministry for Environment.
In 2015, he wrote the book “Les fonts Ufanes i el pla de Tel”, the only monograph of this Mallorca’s Natural Monument.
From 2016, he is the Director General for Natural Spaces and Biodiversity of the Government of the Balearic Islands.
