Technical training on cybersecurity in aviation

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), in collaboration with the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA), will host the first technical training on cybersecurity in aviation.

The goal is to provide an overview of the cybersecurity threat landscape for aviation’s information infrastructures, an introduction of the Network and Information Security Directive (NIS Directive) and to deliver the first ENISA training on incident handling, customised for the aviation sector. The main goal of the training it to inform aviation IT security experts on the latest cyber-threats, on the handling of cyber-incidents and provide a starting point for the challenges ahead.

The target audiences are airports, air carriers, air traffic control and international organisations interested to train their cybersecurity professionals in incident handling.
