The conference serves as a platform to present and discuss the considerations emerging from the study ‘Bioeconomy: Support to policy for research and innovation’.
The overall objective of the study is to provide a range of new information and analyses on three distinct but related topics comprising:
- full Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of case studies comparing bio-based with fossil-based products
- EU success stories, with insights on the bio-based sector and the investment potential it offers
- top emerging bio-based products, their properties and industrial applications
