The Euroscience open forum (ESOF), held once every two years, is the largest interdisciplinary science event in Europe. It brings together over 4000 leading thinkers, innovators, policymakers, journalists and educators from all over the world to discuss current and future breakthroughs in science. More than 40% of the participants are students and young researchers.
This year, the European Research Council (ERC) will be present at ESOF with ERC president Jean-Pierre Bourguignon and over 20 ERC grantees.
The Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission will also be present, with an exciting programme combining science talks, workshops, TED-styled talks and Pecha Kucha presentations.
