The Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU has the pleasure to host the participants of the European Young Leaders programme (EYL40) in Tallinn.
EYL40, led by Friends of Europe, is a unique, inventive and multi-stakeholder programme that aims to promote European identity by engaging the continent's most promising talents in the initiatives that will shape Europe's future. This year's programme is titled '21st century pioneers: Interregional cooperation for a new generation'. Young leaders will debate how the interaction between civil society, technology, business and politics has been rapidly changing in the early part of this century, and the effect that this will have on citizens and communities in Europe and around the world.
For the first time, European Young Leaders will be joined by young leaders from North America, the Middle East and Africa, to expand the conversation and exchange experience with their regional counterparts.
