The European Commission, in collaboration with the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and RWI - Leibniz Institute for Economic Research, is organising the Counterfactual methods for policy impact evaluation 2018 (COMPIE 2018) conference.

The aim of the conference is to bring together policymakers and researchers to discuss developments in counterfactual methods and applications of impact evaluation. The latter can cover a broad range of interventions, from labor and social policy to regulation and funding programmes, ideally with a focus on EU policies.

The conference will consist of plenary, contributed and poster sessions. Plenary sessions will host two keynote speakers; the contributed sessions and the poster sessions will include contributed papers submitted through a call for papers.
