General competences:General competences has been acquired under previous education.Vocational competences: carry out installation, maintenance and repair of pipelines and gas appliances, installation of valves, gas pressure regulator, safety and protective devices; carry out work on gas pipes under pressure, observe them at a technologically suitable and safe working practices; install and deploy the meter of combustible gases; carry out audit and inspection activities; elect the technological process of assembly and repair of pipelines and their accessories; connect pipe materials, assemble the pipe and perform the prescribed test for leaks; manually process the metallic and non-metallic materials selected, know the basic methods of its machine tooling; select and use materials on the basis of their properties; work with manual and mechanized hand tools and work aids; have knowledge of generally applicable legislative standards and use them; read construction drawings, prepare a simple sketch of the building and draw the imposition of piping; carry out simple calculations related to the installation of piping and accessories; adhere to regulations for testing of gas and apply the principles of the transfer of buildings to the investor; prepared for welding by oxy-acetylene flame welding (ZK 311 W01), by arc welding with coated electrodes (RC 111 W 01), weld plastic gas pipe butt (ZK 11 P 3) and electro (ZK 16 P 3).

Loomaarsti abiline, tase 4 on oskustöötaja, kelle töö eesmärgiks on loomaarsti abistamine erinevate manipulatsioonide tegemisel. Ta suhtleb klientidega (sh loomaomanikuga või loomapidajaga) ja tagab loomaarsti praksise töö sujuvuse, osaledes tulemuslikult meeskonnatöös. Tema peamisteks tööülesanneteks on loomadele diagnostiliste protseduuride tegemine, loomade hooldamine ning raviprotseduuride läbiviimine loomaarsti antud juhiste kohaselt ja vastutusel. Loomaarsti abiline töötab iseseisvalt olukordades, mida saab tavaliselt ette näha, aga mis võivad ka muutuda. Ta korraldab oma tegevust ja kohandab seda vastavalt olukorrale ning vastutab oma tööülesannete täitmise eest.

The Master in Teaching and Learning (MTL) is an entry-level qualification for teachers. Students who will follow this course will specialise in Pedagogical Content Knowledge (after having obtained a first-cycle degree at first-cycle level in Content Knowledge), in Educational Context Knowledge and in Educational Research and Inquiry. These are intrinsically related to the Field Placement in schools. Furthermore, the wider educational context will be included in the programme through Educational Themes and Creative Positive Learning Environments. The MTL bridges theory and practice thereby forming educators as reflective, inquiring and collegial professionals. It promotes teaching and learning for democracy and social justice. Skills acquired throughout the course are directly transferable to classrooms, schools and communities: these include teaching techniques, class management skills, teachers as leaders, democracy and social knowledge within the teaching profession etc. The research element of the MTL will allow students to engage with specific issues related to Education and/or their field of specialisation. The MTL is a two-year full-time course, which enables graduates to teach at Primary and Secondary level, according to the area of specialisation chosen. The course will be offered to prepare teachers in a number of subjects. Umění a užité umění

This programme aims to give learners a very good grounding in the studying of Accounts. Study areas range from aspects of financial management accounting to the use of accounting software and more generic areas of key skills. The course includes hands-on experience through Apprenticeship where students will learn by doing and gain experience first-hand on the application of the theory. Students who finish the course will not be qualified accountants, but will have a very good understanding and possess the required skills to work in an accounts department. Learners following this programme will also be prepared to sit for AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) UK International Examinations.

The B.A. and B.A.(Hons) are the Faculty’s staple undergraduate degrees. They differ from each other mainly in that the B.A. is spread equally over two areas of study, whereas the B.A.(Hons) focuses on a single area, with a secondary area as subsidiary. All undergraduate students follow two areas of study during the first year, but those who wish and qualify to proceed to the honours track continue with one area of study, in addition to a limited number of credits in the subsidiary area to be taken during the second year. Undergraduates may choose a combination of any two areas of study, with some restriction imposed only by practical time-table requirements. The duration of the degree courses is three years. Honours students write research-based dissertations or long essays in the final stages of their studies. The weighting of the course components in establishing the final grade is biased in favour of the later parts of the course, on the principle that the fairest evaluation of a student is at the point of exit.
