Nina Agić

Working at the crossroads of people, operations, projects, and finance. Beyond managing structures and processes, my role is creating the conditions in which people and projects can thrive. This means enabling team to focus on innovation and delivery, while ensuring the organization remains sustainable, transparent, and aligned with EU funding, regulatory, and governance requirements. In this sense, my contribution is about quietly but deliberately strengthening the backbone that allows KIC’s mission and creativity to flourish.

Managing a four year EU-funded project, ie. regional project connecting teams and institutions in Western Balkans and Türkiye with European Commission in their EU accession processes (preparing their Economic Reform Programmes and implementing their Reform Agendas). Creating a regional capacity building platform for countries to exchange experience and challenges among themselves (peer learning) and learning from the experience of member states.

Developing learning program on institutional level, in this period the program successfully scaled up with increased visibility and funding. Co-authored the CEF’s institutional strategy, including governance, partnerships, and communications.

Led design and delivery of thematic learning activities (conferences, online courses, study visits, webinars), including tools for knowledge dissemination.

Oversaw development of operations supporting monetary policy, asset management, foreign exchange reserve instruments, and Single Treasury Accounts.

Managed projects in the field of implementing back office support for monetary policy- and reserves- instruments, inclusion in TARGET 2, joining different SEPA shemes, etc.

Managed upgrading the IT system and legal framework for back office operations, ie. IT system supporting payments of Banka Slovenije and providing payment services for its custmers (Single Treasury Accounts for state's and municipalities' treasuries). The project included re-inovation and digitalization of processes, legal framework and analytical accounting.

Managing a project for establishing the system of domestic securities settlement in central banking money as a part of broader reform of payment systems in Slovenia in 2002 - transfer of accounts and payments from APP (state Agency for payment services) to commercial banks and BS.

Developed internal controlling tools for cost and profit centers. Delivered financial plans and risk assessments to support executive decision-making. Delivered central bank reporting in the area of foreign exchange risks.

Participated in AIESEC exchange program, working at the counter of the bank and working in the Kontrolling Department.

Participated in AIESEC exchange programs, working in Marketing Department.
