Guide provides support to all those who want to implement a school garden project in educational institutions, improve existing projects, inspire and enrich them with innovative activities aimed at including wider community, always underlining that the school garden is more than a topic of one teaching subject. Content wise, guide is focused on the school garden project step by step enriched with ideas on socially responsible school garden projects in function of developing solidary community, the Guide is intended for schools (but also to kindergartens and student dormitories) giving the opportunity to learn about themselves, plants and global world, preparing generations for the circumstances that await in future life experiences.


The guide was created as part of the project "Don't environmentalize! - sustainable development in practice" carried out by the Žmergo Association in partnership with five primary schools with the financial support of the Ministry of Science and
