Ms Spiteri is very focussed and determined, works well under pressure and consistently demonstrates a clear ability for independent, innovative and critical thinking. (…) Ms Spiteri is a people’s person and quickly fits in a team to form part of its fabric. Her uncommon empathy is particularly useful in weaving a team together and has served her well in building a very large social network. She is exceptionally good at communication and presentations and has demonstrated time and again to also have excellent people management skills when required, even in the toughest of circumstances. (…) She always maintains high grooming standards which are critical in her work especially when dealing with international collaborators. (…) Ms Spiteri and her team were successful in helping Malta access FP7 EU funds, increasing the success rate by over 30% (from €12m to €18m).”

Dr. Daniel Cassar

Policy Executive at The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise & Industry

“Diana was a great manager, providing the team with clear structure and constant support. Her management style was firm but fair, setting the pace for the team while leading by example. Diana always emphasised the importance of effective communication and provided a balance between supporting us in our roles and giving us the space to operate independently and build upon our talents. I cannot recommend her enough.”

Board Member of the Mental Health Association - Malta

Malta

Providing support to carers and family members of mental health patients and guiding them in times of crisis, and raising awareness of the importance of mental health and wellbeing.

Communication and interpersonal skills

Clarity | Empathy | Listening | Verbal & Non-Verbal Communication | Time Management | Flexible | Multi-Tasking | Conflict-Resolution | Problem-Solving | Organisational Skills | Detail-Oriented | Analytical | Able to Build Relationships | Loyal

I possess a comprehensive set of soft skills that enable me to communicate effectively and perform efficiently in various professional settings. My ability to communicate with clarity, coupled with strong listening skills, allows me to understand and address the needs of my team and stakeholders effectively. This skill was particularly honed through my role as a team leader, where I was responsible for presenting at numerous events. These presentations required not only clear verbal communication but also the use of non-verbal cues to engage and persuade diverse audiences.

Empathy and the ability to build strong relationships have been integral to my success in roles that involve customer relationship management and my active involvement with the Mental Health Association - Malta. My experience in this area has also strengthened my writing skills, as I often had to convey complex information in a manner that was both accessible and personalized to the customer. This experience, combined with my ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, has enabled me to navigate high-pressure environments with flexibility and composure.

I am detail-oriented and possess strong organisational skills, which are essential for managing projects and leading teams. My analytical abilities allow me to solve problems efficiently, often requiring conflict resolution and strategic decision-making. An example of this was when I successfully mediated a conflict within my team, ensuring that all parties felt heard and respected, which ultimately led to a more collaborative and productive work environment.

Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated loyalty and a commitment to excellence, whether in building relationships with clients, managing projects, or leading teams. My experiences have taught me the importance of being adaptable and maintaining a strong ethical foundation, which has earned me the trust and respect of colleagues and clients alike.
