Expert and consultancy work in the area of quality assurance, recognition, micro-credentials, digitalisation and interoperability in higher education. Including:

1. designing and overseeing the implementation of technical architecture and standards
2. managing KIC's software development projects
3. analytical and research work
4. managing EU-funded projects
5. maintaining partnerships with client, stakeholders and policy-makers in the field

Selection of current projects:

1. Higher education interoperability work within the European Digital Education Hub (EDEH) - under a service contract for the European Commission
2. Founding of 1EdTech Europe - KIC is a co-founder of the organisation and supports the organisational setup; facilitate standardisation, profiling, and policy work
3. Work on alliance-level quality assurance in the European degree policy lab - subcontractor of ICF under a framework contract for the European Commission
4. European Higher Education Sector Observatory (EHESO): regional expert for the Western Balkans - subcontractor of PPMI under a service contract for the European Commission
5. Database of European Quality Assurance Results (DEQAR): technical support for maintenance, interoperability with other systems and further development - service contract for EQAR

Expert and consultancy work for European projects and initiatives in the area of quality assurance, recognition, digitalisation and interoperability in higher education. Selection of key projects and clients:

1. Higher Education Interoperability initiative within the European Digital Education Hub (EDEH): senior expert for the consortium leader - German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) under a service contract for the European Commission
2. European Quality Assurance and Recognition System: expertise on a proposal for a Recommendation by the Council of the EU, including modalities of awarding a European degree label - ICF under a framework contract for the European Commission

1. Daily management of EQAR, supporting the work of all statutory bodies (General Assembly, Board, Register Committee)
2. Supporting the Register Committee in managing the Register, i.e. decision-making on applications for registration and reports by registered agencies
3. Overseeing the design, implementation and maintenance of the Database of External Quality Assurance Results (DEQAR)
4. Managing EQAR's contribution to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) policy development and projects (e.g. DEQAR CONNECT)
5. Representing EQAR in the Bologna Follow-Up Group (BFUG) and various of its working/advisory groups
6. External representation of EQAR; maintaining contacts with EQAR members, registered agencies and partners

Supporting the establishment of EQAR, including:

1. drafting of statutes and procedures
2. development of a business plan
3. preparation of statutory meetings
4. development of information documents

Supporting the development of the European Register of Quality Assurance Agencies (EQAR)

Representation of the organisation, policy development and training provision to members, primarily in the areas of quality assurance, qualifications frameworks and credit systems

Organisation of information lectures and development of policies and recommendations regarding the Bologna Process and quality assurance

1. Representation of the organisation
2. Public relations activities
3. Policy and strategy development
4. Planning and implementation of externally funded projects, primarily concerning the Bologna Process
5. Responsibility for the organisation's website
6. Internal administration of the organisation, including planning of statutory meetings and management of the association's staff

1. General coordination of the union's work
2. Representation of the union towards the university, press and public
3. Internal administration, supervision of staff
