I was in a small group of Unix/Linux system administrators for three small-scale Unix and Linux-based data centres (less than 100 nodes): hospital data centre, university data centre and GE Health Care hosted data centre (RIS and PACS applications for diagnostic per images). My team and I provided 24/7 support and monitoring with Nagios 3 on a Debian 5.x. The data centres were based on CentOS 6 cluster system and Sun Solaris 9/Sun Cluster 3.2 environments. This provided internal email, internet and intranet web sites, as GE Health Care Applications as well. I was also responsible for LDAP-based authentication server, Squid proxy servers (both for hospital and university users) and backup system with Amanda over IBM Total Storage TS3200 tape library.

I worked as an IBM AIX system administrator in a team of ten people, providing 24/7 support and monitoring for a large-scale environment (up to 300 nodes). My main tasks consisted in managing and tuning Logical Partitions (LPARs) of IBM Power6 system, Logical Volume Management with LVM and Veritas Volume Manager, Cluster Management with Veritas Cluster Server. Allocation of system resources with VIOS restricted shell commands, LUN allocation, filesystems resize, resource group monitoring and switching.

From April 2013 until March 2015 I was a restaurant manager and part-time waiter in Bracciano for a family-run restaurant.

From April 2015 I run "La Corte di Bracciano Online". I turned my restaurant into an online catering service.

In Summer 2019 I have graduated from Accademia Pizzaioli, the main italian academy for catering, cooking, gourmet and pizza making.
