Online communication manager

ASEF is a non-profit, intergovernmental organisation located in Singapore. Founded in 1997, it is the only institution of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) and brings together 51 countries of Asia and Pacific, Europe, the European Union, and the ASEAN Secretariat. At ASEF Culture department, I am responsible for setting the online communication strategy and its implementation on social media within the public diplomacy initiative ASEF culture360, promoting cooperation between Asia and Europe through arts and culture. My duties include:

  • Content strategy to enable users to receive quality information about opportunities, events and news in Asia and Europe in one place.
  • Research, Strategic Analysis, and Social Media Engagement, including identification of social media trends.
  • Implementing effective social media marketing and promotion campaigns, Direct Email Marketing (DEM), and community engagement, including budget management and advice.
  • Research and establish strategic ways to increase the online visibility through various means.
  • Carry out research and make observations via Google Analytics and social media insights, providing monthly reporting and strategic advice on online KPIs.
  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), namely researching, reporting, and giving recommendations on how to improve website's performance on Google SERP.
  • Keep track of portal's presence across various online social media channels (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, ...).
  • Use online applications to share portal content across various channels.

Formez PA is an Italian Government agency established in 1965 to support and innovate the Italian public administration. I am currently working as senior communication expert for the Italian Open Government Project. Previously, my tasks have covered:

  • Setting the communication strategy for the Local Governments of Tuscany, Abruzzo, and the cities of Vicenza and Mazara del Vallo.
  • Strategic planning and implementation of communication activities and events for the Ministry of Innovation and Public Administration (Open Government), the Local Government of Sardinia (Open Data), Region Lazio and the Ministry of Arts and Culture in Region Sardinia and Basilicata.
  • Content creation and moderation (communication website chief editor).

  • Main tasks as communication expert at the Industry Department (06/2021 - 01/2022): to promote and capitalise results of the finMED project, funded by the EU through the Interreg MED Programme, to boost financing of innovation for green growth sectors through innovative cluster services.
  • Main tasks as communication expert at the Tourism Department (03/2014 - 12/2015): to promote the launch of the Destination Management System for online transaction and booking, including the development and implementation of marketing strategies on social media, Direct Email Marketing (DEM) and paid campaigns.
