The European Digital Credential Infrastructure is a set of standards, services and software which allows institutions to issue, store, verify, share, and identify digital, tamper-proof credentials within the European Education Area. It allows for the identification, verification, issuing, storage, and sharing of digitally-signed credentials in cross-border context.
