Cathelijne Stoof was recently working under the EU’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, a fellowship programme which provides researchers and doctoral candidates with the funding, skills and resources to complete their research. A soil scientist with a passion for water and fire sciences, she focuses on the impact of both human and natural disturbances on soil and water resources. Cathelijne’s work provides a better understanding of the impact of fire, ash and charcoal on soil, water and landscapes.
