Frank Boermeester is a researcher, writer and event organiser interested in technology and healthcare. Partner at Advance.Healthcare, a consulting firm specialised in digital health, Incorrigibly curious and a student for life, he spends most of his time doing analytical/research work, strategy/concept development and organising events and hackathons (e.g. Hack for Health, Hack Epilepsy, mHealth Hackathon). He is also involved in Hackathons BE (helping companies organise their own hackathons and hackathon-like events). Also an amateur coder and designer.

Earlier he co-founded an innovation journal (The Fifth Conference), he was a research analyst at management consultancy the Corporate Executive Board (London/Washington DC) and has worked for several market research firms around the world. Frank is a research psychologist by training and has published several articles in medical psychiatry. He has an MBA from the Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School.
