Meet our Ambassadors

I plan to organise activities which contain spechees about climate change to those who are not yet involved in climate action. As a deputy mayor of envrinoment I want to engage with other local communities on environment-friendly practices, events and thematic discussions. I also plan to exchange knowledge and try to find climate solutions via my duties as a young elected politician in Brussels.

My professional experience for the last 18 years has in the era of energy, sustainability and ESG strategy in private and public organisations. 

In addition, I am an associate lecturer at the university of Piraeus teaching about circular economy and sustainability at local level.

The necessity of mitigating and adaptating actions for the climate change, is the first priority towards the direction of a sustainable future of mankind and I am glad that Europe announced EU Green deal.

As a teacher and resident in the area near Athens International Airport, I am interested in collaborating with European citizens and organisations facing similar issues.

I hope with all my heart that this movement will improve our lives and establish the foundation for a better future for Europe... for the planet - our HOME!

As a PhD candidate in the University of Athens, I would try to motivate my students community. Meanwhile, as Head of Community in a NGO in Athens which promotes volunteering in individuals, NGOs and companies, I could demonstrate my communication skills and my ability to build communities as well as to organize events. As a CSR consultant, I have a strong persuasive ability and I could use smartly my social media. I take part in global communities such as Clinton Global Initiative.

As a an Ambassador, I will be speaking and acting on Climate Change. I will continue speaking to schools, students, and youth about the Climate Reality we are facing today, raising awareness and inspiring action. I will work to understand how different people view climate change and how we can all work together to tackle it. On 21 November 2021, we hosted reforestation events all over the country in a single day, on the largest reforestation that has ever taken place in Greece.

My plan is to reach out to local and national networks, expand my current contacts in the Mediterranean region and deliver awareness and motivation speeches and training, organize events and conferences, publish articles in relevant magazines and online portals. As I am already active in such tasks, I will have the chance to further promote the Climate Pact goals. As my University is also part of a European University, this will also be exploited.

As a Climate Ambassador I want to make people realise that even though climate change and environmental issues are not immediately visible, the long term catastrophic consequences are to be faced by the whole Planet if we don't start acting NOW.

To do that, eco-community “Hives project” organises training courses, youth exchanges and workshops to educate local and international communities on sustainable living and environmental protection, by also highlighting those topics on social media.

My ambition is to raise awareness on climate-related topics, giving emphasis on the social-environmental impact of climate change and the importance of society's participation in the efforts for climate change mitigation.

Researcher in coal transitions network and in The DCN Southeast Europe Hub. Effective communication and informed policy-making have never been more crucial in the action on the climate crisis. As an European Climate Pact Ambassador my aim is to develop a network of all the interested stakeholders to transfer the knowledge of the European Green Deal  and increase the capacities for people’s better green well-being through the exchange of best environmental practices/policies.

Climate Change is one of the biggest challenges of our times. 

My mission as an Ambassador is to engage citizens and communities in action for our climate and environment. 

I have a keen interest in safeguarding clean air for all since air pollution affects dramatically climate change and remains the biggest environmental health risk in Europe.

As a professor in geo-information, entrepreneur and board member of Rafina-Pikermi municipality, it is my duty to support young people and local communities to move towards a sustainable urban environment. I believe we must plan our cities and activities to respond to local and global challenges towards environmental, economic and social sustainability.

The sustainable development of cities is an integral part of my studies and overall occupation. My company (SUPCO) is carrying out a series of vital studies for the municipalities in my country aiming to estimate the level of their sustainable development. My mission as an Ambassador is to assist the advancement of the sustainable development of cities nation-wide, as well as their adaptation to climate change through the use of quantitative data and indicators (SDGs, GRI).

Innovative Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) could play a significant role for raising awareness for Climate Pact Objectives. The training of their employees and the SME Owners, the inclusion of Climate Pact Goals in their operations and the Dissemination of their relevant activities as Best Practices could have multiple advantages both for our Climate and the Companies' operations. My role as an ambassador will be to encourage more SMEs to introduce such actions in their activities in Greek and European Level
