. I currently work as Area Operations Manager for Save the Children in the Borno Area Office. Prior to joining SCI I worked with Family Health International 360, Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative and German Agency for technical cooperation GIZ. Currently my role involves the provision of oversight in the implementation of SCI’s Humanitarian and development programs in North East Nigeria with an approximate portfolio size of about $7m . As a staff at the field level, I have cognate implementation experience that can allow me share experiences as well as challenges around protection in the North East of Nigeria.

Furthermore, as Area Operations Manager I lead on all aspects of program operations which includes; managing field level projects, budget development and management, agency coordination and representation, security, emergency preparedness and response, logistics and management of multiple teams. In addition I play a critical role in building capacity at the field level, and in the effective scale up and management of Save the Children’s development and humanitarian programs to increase impact and enable positive change for children. I work closely with Community Based Organizations through building partnerships for both our humanitarian and development work.
