Vanmala Hiranandani, Ph.D. (University of Pennsylvania) is currently Assistant Professor in Global Nutrition and Health at Metropolitan University College, Denmark. With a background in social work, she has previously taught in the United States, Canada, and India. Her research and scholarship interests are in food sovereignty, public health in humanitarian emergencies, sustainable development, and health consequences of neoliberal globalization.
