Maher E. Saleh

I am working as a professor of Environmental chemistry of soil and water, Department of Soil and Water Sci., Alexandria University. Since the last decade, I am leading a multidisciplinary research team working in the field of water treatment using biochar as a cost-effective biosorbent. We achieved an excellent result in removing various contaminants from wastewater such as heavy metals, nitrogen compound and reducing the biological activity through the BOD, COD and E coli reduction. We are working in removing the derivatives of organic pollutant from wastewater and we expect a positive results.
