Economist, with more than 15 years of climate finance experience. He is focused on matching finance vehicles with low carbon initiatives, while mitigating risk of investments. He has been responsible for quantifying financial needs, and assessing business models with climate-related commitments. He has served international initiatives that link finance, innovation and carbon reductions, for UK DEFRA and FCO, GIZ, European Commission, JICA, USAID and UNDP.
He holds a master’s degree from Duke University on resource economics and policy, as a Fulbright Scholar, and has been a Chevening Fellow at the University of Reading in the UK (diploma on energy economics). He has experience working in Argentina, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Romania, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States.
