Elise Petitpas

As the advocacy officer, I monitor the developments at the European institutions and provides support to lobbying activities of Amnesty International's END FGM European Campaign. I have worked on women's rights and gender issues in many settings. I hold a Masters degree in Human Rights Law from the University of Strasbourg. I have worked with the Brussels office of the International Planned Parenthood Federation and also worked in the Amnesty International EU Office as Economic, Social and Cultural Rights assistant. Prior to that, I spent some time in Bosnia-Herzegovina where I worked on the implementation of a new legislation on gender equality as an external collaborator for the French Embassy.
