She worked from 1988 till 1994 between Brussels and Paris as a continuity girl and Film editor on Feature Films, Documentaries and advertising. In 1994, she directed and produced her first Medium Documentary “Between us two…Beirut”, followed by “ the silk road” in Anatolia and “The barefoot diva” in Africa-Cabo Verde with the famous singer Cesaria Evora. She moved to Paris in 1995 where she continued directing and producing, than left to Sri Lanka where she worked as a Producer-Director for Young Asia TV, where she was as well an instructor for young journalist. She directed the documentary “The mask of the night” And supervised youth training and street children. In 1998 she returned to Beirut where she established Crystal Films, a Film & TV production and Distribution company. “Khalass” a feature film by Borhane Alaouie was her first big production with France & Belgium. Crystal Films was the pioneer of the first Europa Cinema Theatre in the MEA, the “Salle SIX” and has distributed more than 25 Euro-Mediterranean films in the region. In 2005, she Co-produced her documentary & Directed“Maid for sale” with Belgium & France, that has received several International awards. .Best audience award at vesoul Int Asian festival- 1st prize at Cawtar & IPPF Festival- & MDG United Nations Award-Tunis-Best Documentary & Critics Award at Khouribga Int.Festival-Morocco. She produced more than 8 documentaries n the MEA and for AL-Jazeera Doc channel.
