  2. Merry Christmas and a Happy 2013

    Thank you for your contributions and for sharing knowledge on development in 2012!  Over the course of the year capacity4dev.eu members published over 60 new Voices & Views and posted approximately 900 blog posts, 3000 documents, 300 events and created over 100 new groups. In 2012 we saw a 40% growth with around 2500 new members joining the community!

The Delegation was opened in Dar Es Salaam in 1976 after the United Kingdom´s accession to the European Community paved the way for the extension of the Europe-Africa cooperation to the Commonwealth countries.   6. Policy Forum on Development Confirms EU Commitment to CSO Involvement

    About 80 development practitioners, representatives of civil society organisations, local authorities and members of European institutions exchanged on the New Communication on Civil Society, and the post-2015 Development Agenda. They stressed the need to involve civil society and local authorities, particularly during their first discussion on the new Thematic Programme on Civil Society Organisations (CSO) and Local Authorities (LA).
