The AU Convention for the protection of IDP in Africa (Kampala Convention): one year on

The African Union Convention for the Protection and Assistance of Internally Displaced Persons in Africa (Kampala Convention), the first legally binding instrument to protect IDP at regional level, entered into force one year ago today.  To commemorate, the African Union and the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre have released this report "to take stock of the progress made in its ratification and implementation." ...
