companies etc.). In addition Trainees should be able to write, send and
receive e-mail. After completing the training participants can join our
Community of Practices where they will have access to the training 
materials  and  gain  more  knowledge  on  ICT  and  explore 
other  development.

The Improving Forest Governance course is a 4-week, UK-based residential
course that covers a variety of forest governance issues. The course is
conducted in English, French and Spanish with simultaneous interpretation
and is taught by experienced tutors from the Centre for International
Development and Training, as well as leading international experts and
practitioners on forest governance, climate change, REDD+ and
multi-stakeholder processes from the UK and abroad. Participants are immersed
in training and benefit from high quality field trips, including visiting a
Chatham House Illegal Logging update meeting in London.

the EC. The Centre for International Development and Training (CIDT) of the
University of Wolverhampton is organising 1 week programme for forest sector
educators in Liberia entitled ‘Teaching and Learning for Improved Forest
Governance’. The training programme will involve participants from the
Forestry Training Institute Liberia, the University of Liberia and training
institutions in Liberia.
The aim of the training programme is to explore the implications of the
growing prominence of natural resource governance specifically forest
governance for curricula and approaches to teaching and learning in Higher
Education in Liberia.

African States to tackle climate change challenges to agricultural production
by means of proactive policies and approaches at the national and
sub-regional levels. The event will bring together experts from central
government services responsible for agricultural policies in the countries of
the sub-region, as well as parliamentarians and representatives of diverse
sub-regional and regional agencies and development partners, including: the
Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) Commission; the
Secretariat General of the Economic Community of Central African States
(ECCAS); the Central African Forest Commission (COMIFAC); the Economic
Commission on Cattle, Meat and Fish Resources in CEMAC (CEBEVIRHA); the
African Centre of Meteorological Applications for Development (ACMAD); and
the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO).
