This Forum will focus on how RBM&E practitioners can improve the
effectiveness of their programmes and projects. It will also address wider
issues such as linking M&E to strategic planning, organisation learning,
knowledge management, and capacity development.

The programme consists of a series of KeyNote and Guest Speakers, Panel
Discussions, and Special Sessions (gneral presentations). These will all be
organised around four Themes: -

* Theme 1: Developing and Measuring Outcomes and Impacts
* Theme 2: Getting Buy-in to RBM&E
* Theme 3: M&E, Knowledge Management, and Organisation Learning
* Theme 4: Beyond the Logical Framework

A facilitated ‘question and answer’ time will follow each Presentation
or Panel Discussion, during which time participants will be encouraged to
become involved.

There will also be opportunities to network, exhibit information, and share
information daily. A Forum dinner will also be hosted by the Forum organisers
of the evening of 27 November.


Donors face strong incentives to undertake their own assessment of the governance situation in partner countries, with various objectives responding to different needs. Still, quite often, there is space for better coordination.
