The Oxford Adaptation Academy is a residential course that integrates three
learning themes:

-Participants' role as change makers, in their own careers and organisations

-Adaptation as a process linking climate science, vulnerability and decision

-Technical skills in analysing adaptation options and project development

The 2015 Academy will include three one-day workshops (Financing
Sustainability; Uncertainty and Risk; and Urban Planning). Participants
arrive in Oxford with a wealth of knowledge and experience. The integration
of workshops into the course is a reflection of feedback from the 2014
Academy. It acknowledges the importance of active learning and enables an
environment of peer-to-peer sharing and exchange of experience. Each workshop
will be structured as an open forum between participants and facilitators. In
this way the course aims to build a genuine 'community of practice'.
